Whitney Biennial

I'm excited to see my first Whitney biennial this spring. I was looking at the blog Arrested Motion and the Whitney's website and I can't wait. I've only heard of two of the artists (I know, I'm a newbie) but I'm excited to see new work. I've been looking at art history too much. I feel like I'm missing whats going on now. I highly recommend checking out the videos. Its really interesting to hear the curators, Francesco Bonami and Gary Carrion-Murayari, talk about the process of creating the show and picking the artists.
But has anyone noticed the that the graphic for the show that says "Whitney" then 20 then 10 is punctuated by the sound of a cash registrar? $$$ ironic no?

Scanned negative stills of Cops. Their not done yet. I might rescan them with a better quality scanner and invert the color so its not a negative, but we'll see...

school is sucking my soul/life away

BArnard campus has a new addition! the vag. I mean the Diana center (inside joke, it was going to be called the susan vagilous center aka the vag. thank god some one realized the extreme ridiculousness of naming a student center at an all girls school, the vag)

7 classes, 18 credits = deathhhhh.

so i've busy. In fact I should be doing math homework right now. But instead I've been looking for art blogs for the last hour... I'm bad at school.
